Bailout Who?
Giving “Tapped Out” A New Meaning – Please Don’t Ask AnyMore, I have my own business!
Good citizens want to help other good citizens, but how about those bailouts? Tax dollars come from cross-cultural citizens, union states, non-union states all contribute to Federal tax revenues.
Arguing “no difference” between stabilizing financial institutions by which all commerce is conducted and stabilizing an “out-of-touch” industry along with an “out-of-touch” union workforce, supporters of the recent Big 3 Auto and the UAW can’t seem to see the difference. The final argument posed by supporters of this most recent bailout? Jobs! Good citizens want to help other good citizens but what about the rest of us?
The warnings in a failed dynamic intelligence plan by U.S. Auto industry and its Co-Op the United Auto Workers Union fell even deeper on deaf ears during the screams of 1999. The Warning of 1999 stated the U.S. Auto Industry could also dominate the U.S. Industry if it moved rapidly to alternative or green-type automobiles. Seemed simple? No. In order to convert to green, labor demand retraining at top rates, labor insisted there could be no change in workforce if efficient technologies retired previous union trades. Let’s not forget about the long-term benefits and union packages to all retiring workers? When everything is broken, what do they do? How about “giving tapped out a new meaning?”
True, the UAW and the Big 3 have recently worked on the inevitable yet truly who knows if they’ll finish doing what is necessary, after all, they have had all this time. Yet, the non-supporters of this bailout say, more simply, “I have to compete. I don’t get $70.00 USD per hour. I have to pay for my own insurance. Please don’t ask anymore!”
Good citizens want to take care of good citizens, but sometimes you have to fix your own problem otherwise you get an unfair advantage of having others fix your problem. Could you lose your job if there is no bailout? Perhaps. That means you better get out there with the rest of us and create your own opportunity.
Now that’s “Giving Tapped Out A New Meaning” so, “Please Don’t Ask Anymore!”
